Birmingham City Business School is a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) - a global organisation which numbers around 700 of the worlds leading Business Schools and blue chip organisations engaged in management education / management.

The Association of Business Schools (ABS) is the representative body and authoritative voice for the leading business schools of UK universities, higher education institutions and independent management colleges.

Birmingham City Business School has been granted Platinum Approval - the highest level awarded by the independent Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) - for its professional accountancy tuition programmes.  The Association's international accounting qualification, which is highly rated by employers and leads to certified membership of the organisation. Birmingham City Business School had to fulfil several criteria including the students exceeding the worldwide pass rate for examinations.
The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is the internal audit profession's global voice, recognised authority, acknowledges leader, chief advocate, and principal educator. 
The internal Auditing Education Partnership (IAEP) is designed to support universities and colleges.
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accreditation means that each centre has been quality-audited and approved to teach CIM qualifications that tutors have access to essential teaching resources and information from CIM.
The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) is risk management's leading international professional education and training body.  The institute provides high quality education, training and professional development in risk management at a range of levels, from introductory to expert.
