Why Use Digital Capture Solutions?
We aim to provide high quality digitisation services for print and film based material.
We can digitally capture from large format items up to A0 with our Zeutschel Scanners. These planetary machines scan by using an overhead system so your originals are safe from potential damage by any rollers or moving parts. Equipped with book cradle systems to facilitate scanning of delicate and tightly bound material, they are the ideal choice for digitisation of historical or fragile items. 36bit true colour ensures accurate representation.

The original painting's varnish had darkened with age. This is represented in the scanned image. The intrinsic characteristics of an aged oil painting are also evident.
Alhambra Digitisation
We digitised Plans, Elevations, Sections, and Details of the Alhambra: from drawings taken on the spot by the late M. Jules Goury and in 1834 and 1837 by Owen Jones... for the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design library. The original is kept in a stack behind the scenes and students' access of its drawings was limited. Digitisation and subsequent hosting of the collection on UCEEL seemed the ideal solution.
