BSA presents a witty play, not so much about Hitchcock as about blondes...

Hitchcock Blonde

By Terry Johnson
Directed by Iain Davie

Celluloid and sexual desire intertwine in Terry Johnson's homage to Hitchcock. 1959: the man himself is auditioning an anonymous blonde to be Janet Leigh's shower scene body-double. 1999: Hitchcock-obsessed lecturer Alex thinks he may have discovered some lost footage from 1919 and lures his protégé Nicola to Greece to piece together the remnants. Hitchcock Blonde is a perceptive and funny exploration of the gap between celluloid dreams and reality.

This production contains scenes of an adult nature, including nudity. Presented by Birmingham School of Acting in association with Samuel French Ltd.
